Responsibilities:
Manages and coordinates activities related to the design, building, implementation, and maintenance of clinical information systems in collaboration with departmental leadership, F&CH counterparts, and vendor system implementation staff to promote safe, quality patient care and effective nursing/clinical staff performance. Responsible and accountable for achieving in depth knowledge of application software and working with end users in designing and building the system to meet the business operational needs. Maintains clinical nursing skills in nursing specialty. Other duties as assigned.

Summary:
A minimum of 4-7 years of relevant clinical experience in which leadership competence has been demonstrated is required. Current knowledge of professional nursing practice standards, laws, regulations into informatics practice is required.

Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.

Master's degree in Nursing Administration or Nursing/Clinical Informatics is preferred.

Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact). American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
