TheSupervisor is accountable for assisting management with coordinating the overall operation of the department to ensure that the optimal schedules, staffing levels and payroll outcomes are in effect and are based upon census, acuity and budget.The Supervisoris also responsible for assisting management with ensuring sound financial oversight of operations. TheSupervisor incorporates differences into the provision of care and integrates knowledge, skills and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families with an awareness of cost containment and time management. In addition theSupervisor trains, evaluates and supervises staff in carrying out department policies and procedures.
Current CA RN licensure
3years nursing experience in an acute care hospital
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite & strong written/verbal communication skills
BLS & ACLS
Bachelor's degree in nursing
Working knowledge of computerized charting systems
