PROGRAM MANAGER RN, WOUNDAND SKIN CARE - WOUND CARE UNIT

The WOUND CARE PROGRAM MANAGER RN, under the direction of the Patient Management Team, serves as a clinical resource providing expert direction and support for care of patients with selected disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and integumentary systems, such as complex draining wounds, ostomies, fistulae, dermal ulcers, tubes and incontinence. Utilizes a wide range of problem solving alternatives, functions as a practitioner, educator, consultant and researcher. All employees are expected to perform their duties in alignment with the vision and values of the organization. The person doing this job is responsible for a variety of tasks that lead to a high level of customer satisfaction in the most cost-effective manner with respect and dignity.
Requirements: BSN required, MSN preferred. CA RN License and board certification by WOCNCB. Completion of a WOC Nursing Education Program (WOCNEP) accredited by the WOCN.Current AHA BLS certification.
Experience: Minimum three (3) years of recent experience as a registered nurse, with 1 year experience as a wound, ostomy continence nurse. Two yearsof management/educator experience within patient care services preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
