The Director of Surgical Services is responsible for 24 hour managerial and clinical functions for a defined area under the direction of the Chief Nurse Executive. Works collaboratively with the hospital leadership, staff, and physicians. Applies Dignity Health Core Values to the performance of every job duty. Management experience in an acute hospital surgical services environment required. BSN or equivalent degree required. Masters Degree preferred . Current California license as a Registered Nurse. Current American Heart Assoc. BLS certification for healthcare providers.
