Our 4-OR suite Surgery Center is looking for RNs who enjoy a fast paced environment. We typically turn our rooms over in less than twenty minutes, so if you enjoy a busy outpatient surgery setting and you are looking for a supplemental position, read on:
This position requires at least 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse in an operating room or cardiac surgery in an acute care setting. Candidates must have a current California RN License, AHA BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association. Procedural sedation certificate and skills related to laboratory and x-ray order entry and online documentation preferred. This is not a training position, previous eye, ortho, podiatry, general surgery, plastics, ocularplastics and cataract experience preferred.

The incumbent is defined as a professional who provides and supervises care to individuals and families. The registered nurse provides patient and family care based on the nursing process and consistently provides a safe and confidential environment throughout the delivery of care in the operating room suite. As a professional, the registered nurse is responsible for providing leadership and maintaining personal professional development.
