We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Nurse Practitioner - Pain Management.To qualify you must have a Masters Degree in Nursing, Acute Nurse Practitioner certification with prescriptive privileges plus 5 years of relevant nursing experience. ANCC Board Certification as an NP is required. Prior NP experience is preferred. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills a must. The successful candidate will manage pain management patients; provide patient/staff education and develop practice protocols. The NP will also work in a collaborative practice caring for adult patients with chronic pain and Orthopaedic conditions. Responsibilities include performing physical assessments and therapeutic and diagnostic procedures; discharge planning and coordinating patient care with other members of the interdisciplinary health care team.
