Critical Care Registered Nurse - Part Time Nights
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as Reregistered Nurse Part Time Nights in our Critical Care Unit. The unit promotes wellness through the development of interdisciplinary treatment goals and plans. The Registered Professional Nurse (RN) is assigned to primary patients to foster continuity of care and transition into the community. The successful Registered Professional Nurse (RN) is expected to carry out responsibilities with emphasis on nursing judgments to assist patients to attain their optimum level of wellness within a framework of stated outcomes. The Nurse provides competent, safe and compassionate care and formulates the initial plan of care with the provider (physician or nurse practitioner) and collaborates with them to implement a comprehensive patient-centered plan of care to achieve expected outcomes.
To qualify you must have a Bachelors degree in Nursing with current NYS RN License and ACLS, PALS and BLS certifications. CCRN Certification in specialty is a plus. The successful candidate will possess the ability to apply nursing process toward achievement of specific outcomes in an organized fashion which addresses patient/family satisfaction. A minimum of two years recent clinical nursing practice in a critical care setting is required. Excellent interpersonal, communication and teambuilding skills with an emphasis on patient satisfaction is expected.
