Responsible for direction of patient care in the telemetry setting. Manages staff members in the Telemetry Unit. Consults with staff, physicians and Director of Telemetry regarding nursing problems and interpretation of hospital policies to ensure patient needs and safety are met. Maintains performance improvement activities and assists in formulating budget. Correctly interprets telemetry monitoring and appropriately acts upon findings. Communicates appropriately and clearly to Director, co-workers, physicians, patients, and family members. Facilitates staff communication by participating in staff meetings.



  • Current State of Florida Registered Nurse Licensure
  • 3 or more years of previous experience in Telemetry nursing
  • Supervisor/Management experience preferred
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Successful completion of arrhythmia course
