Serves as the clinical resource and consultant for the acute and rehabilitative care of patients with selected disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and integumentary systems, such as complex draining wounds, ostomies, fistulae, dermal ulcers, tubes, and incontinence. Prepared to provide the full scope of WOC(ET) nursing practice which also includes other components such as education, counseling, research, and administration.



EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate of accredited nursing school

• BSN required

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• 2 years of relevant and recent nursing experience preferred.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS

• Current Colorado RN license or License eligible.

• Current BLS certification required from American Heart Association

 



Special requirements:  Foot care certification
