Under the direction of the Clinical Director, the Clinical Manager is responsible for the operational management of the patient care process, team building and facilitation, resource management and clinical and customer service role modeling. The Clinical Manager also assists the director in human resource management for the assigned area.

! Ongoing validated competency as required both generally and within unit parameters as they relate to the patient populations’ needs.
! Demonstrated understanding of unit operational and motivational techniques.
! Demonstrated ability to work independently in an interdisciplinary environment..
! Ability to respond to emergencies and unpredictable situations in a calm manner, while exercising good judgment.
! Excellent communication and interpersonal/behavioral skills.
! Customer service orientation to include skills in problem solving.
! Commitment to career development in clinical and/or administrative track.
! Demonstrated ability to function as a positive and productive member of a team
Training & Education:
BSN preferred (active matriculation required).
RN license preferred.
Minimum of three or more years of progressive clinical experience. Some management, supervisory experience preferred.
