Assesses patient and family health problems and resources. Takes a leadership role in the assessment, development, implementation, and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care provided by the nursing team. Provides technical nursing care and interventions to designated patient populations.
This position requires providing care and service to a pediatric through geriatric patient population. The associate will provide age appropriate care to acutely ill through normally healthy patients in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional and developmental age of the individual served.
One year surgical care experience or six months Operating Room training course
Completion of critical care course and/or AORN certification preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Basic computer skills
Current CA RN license or Interim Permit
Current BLS-C through AHA
Current CNOR certification preferred
