Job Objective:Responsible for coordinating an effective hospital-wide program for surveillance including development of policy/procedure to ensure rigorous infection control standards, infection surveillance, data collection, analysis and reporting of nosocomial infections, intervention, consultation and coordination of Infection Control Committee activities.
Education Required:Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Master's degree in Nursing (preferred).
Licensure/Certification Required:CA RN, Infection Control Board Certification (preferred).
Experience Required:Minimum five (5) years experience in acute clinical setting. Minimum two (2) years in infection control in a health care setting.
Skills required: Computer skills, including data entry, spreadsheets and graphics. Ability to collect, analyze and disseminate data.
