Assists physician, medical staff and other allied health professionals in the treatment of the Cardiovascular patient requiring arrhythmia management by providing accurate diagnostic information, including pertinent history, preliminary interpretation of data, patient and family education and coordination of care along the continuum. Follows hospital and clinic specific standards of practice, hospital policies and procedures. Serves in role of clinician, consultant, and educator. Other duties as assigned. Clinical education and experience in one of the following areas: Cardiac Cath Lab/ EP lab or Cardiovascular medicine is required.
Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of a program at an accredited School of Nursing is required.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact). American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days.
