This role is responsible for providing clinical expertise and structure surrounding insurance denials. The role has the ability to positively impact the hospital receivables and cash flow by converting denied claims into paid claims.  The RN must be capable of effectively preparing, researching and writing appeals.  At all times must remain compliant with state and federal rules and legislations.  The RN will be responsible to coordinate with physicians, nurses and care managers both internally and externally. Provides reports and analysis on insurance clinical rules, determinations, and denial trending.  Provides expertise and systems analysis surrounding denials reduction initiatives.

 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of nursing required
  • Current Certified Registered Nurse
