Oversees and coordinates the intake and admissions department and its employees and assesses eligibility for admission to Hospice according to NHO Guidelines and standards of practice.home care, nursing, RN, homecare, nurse, hospice, home care hospice, hospice nurse, hospice rn

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing, BSN degree preferred or BS in related field.
  • Minimum of two years supervisory experience in Hospice and /or Palliative Care or other health care setting.
  • Requires a good working knowledge of GroupWise, Microsoft Word, and MISYS.
  • Position requires strong computer skills.
  • Excellent communication, listening, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to motivate employees and referral sources.
  • Ability to speak in public.
  • Ability to create presentations.
  • This position requires a high degree of accountability.
