To direct the care of the inpatient through the nursing process and through collaboration with the patient, their family and other health care professionals. Provides leadership to non-licensed staff by setting an example of excellence. Assesses the needs of the patient through a holistic approach on an ongoing basis. Provides information to physicians and other health care professionals of any changes in patient condition. Adjusts treatment based on multidisciplinary plan of care.
- Current Arizona Registered Nurse License
- Current BLS/ACLS required
- Oncology experience preferred
- Recent experience in intensive care area desirable.
- Organization skills to coordinate patient care.
- Verbal and interpersonal skills to support customer relations and communicate with other health care providers.
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and read/comprehend written instructions.
- Basic computer skills.
- ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy provider preferred.
- Demonstrate knowledge of diagnostic tests and their effects on the patient.

*Per Diem-A Per Diem position at CTCA is a position that is called in to work on an “as needed” basis to cover scheduled and un-planned time-off, medical leaves or patient increase levels.
