We have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Registered Nurse at the NYU Brooklyn Endoscopy and Ambulatory Surgery Centerlocated in Midwood, Brooklyn, NY. To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, a current New York State RN license, current BLS and ACLS certification with the American Heart Association, OR experience is required. You must have excellent communication skills, be extremely organized, detail oriented and able to work in a fast paced environment. Scrub and/ or circulator duties during all types of surgical procedures. Orthopedic experience preferred. EPIC knowledge a must. Knowledge of JHACO guidelines and policy a plus. The successful candidate will work with state of the art Gastrointestinal and Surgical treatment in the safest, most efficient and caring manner. We have a team of superbly trained and dedicated health care professionals. You will provide cross coverage in Pre-surgical admission/assessment; PACU coverage and patient discharge; Review and stocking of Code Cart according to policy; inventory and re-stocking of OR supplies and instrumentation.
