Job Details:
  • MSN with Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing specialty
  • 3 plus years’ psychiatric nursing experience or may have equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • WA State RN and ARNP licensure with Basic Life Support (BLS) and Clinical Nurse Specialist in Adult Psychiatric & Mental Health Nursing (CNS) Certification, Adult Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) Certification or Family Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
  • Must be eligible for privileges on SWMC's Allied Health Professional Staff
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to analyze/problem solve
  • Ability to set priorities and make independent judgments
  • Proven leadership ability
  • Demonstrated ability in facilitation, teaching/training, coaching, stakeholder involvement and follow-up
  • Strong knowledge of psychotropic pharmacology
  • Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Job requires with ability to lift objects weighing 50 lbs or less
  • Prefer: 5 plus years’ strong psychiatric-mental health experience; Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Controlled Substance Registration Certificate
