Clinical Nurse Manager / Telemetry

 

Job Summary:

The Clinical Nurse Manager supports the Director of Nursing in the assigned clinical area by managing daily operations, staffing/scheduling, performance improvement, interviewing, documentation review, and Joint Commission Compliance.   Well qualified candidates will have a minimum of five years of staff RN experience and at least one year of management experience in a hospital setting.   

Unit Description:

The 4th floor Telemetry unit has a total of 48 beds with an average RN patient ratio of 4-5:1. This is a moderate to high acuity unit with a focus on patients who are being treated for illnesses including, but not limited to: congestive heart-failure, myocardial infarction, and any complex medical step-down patients. This unit also receives pre/post cardiac catheterization patients. 

Qualifications:

  • Current Florida Registered Nurse Licensure
  • Minimum of 5 years of Hospital RN experience in related area required
  • One year of management experience in a Hospital Setting required
  • Bachelor Degree in Nursing required
  • Current BLS and ACLS issued by the American Heart Association
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
