The HOURS of the position areVARIED, MONDAY - FRIDAY 7:00-5:00 WITH OCCASIONAL ROTATION 7:00-8:00 P.M.

Responsibilities:
The Licensed Practical Nurse is a practitioner who is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients. This individual demonstrates competency in delivery of care to a primarily adult population. The Licensed Practical Nurse job description incorporated essential functions which are adapted from the ANA Standards of Clinical Nursing Practice. Other duties as assigned.

Summary:
Two years of clinical experience is required.

Experience in a busy Internal Medicine or Family Practice Clinic is preferred.

Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of an accredited LPN School of Nursing in order to be eligible for licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse is required.

Current license to practice as an LPN in the State of Wisconsin is required. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required upon hire.
