TheEpic Perioperative Teamis responsible for supportEpic OpTimeandEpic Anesthesiathroughout the OR and perioperative areas. The team is comprised of systems analysts and nursing informatics specialists.

The Systems Analyst is responsible for the maintenance and support ofEpic OpTime/Anesthesia. The position is responsible for analyzing business application and system needs while working with various levels of end users to create specifications for systems and applications. The Systems Analyst is responsible to participate in the on-call rotation. Other duties as assigned.

A minimum of three years of functional/operating experience in related discipline is required.

Knowledge of computer principles at a level normally obtained through completion of a Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science or another closely related scientific or technology field is required.

Certification in Epic OpTime or Epic Anesthesia preferred.

Clinical experience related to surgical workflows preferred.

Other information:
Solid understanding of components and data flow for simple to moderately complex IT systems. Knowledge and understanding of operating systems, computer programming concepts, software development lifecycle, databases, client-server technology, networks and security. Solid understanding of project management principles and methods.
