Job Details:
Primarily responsible for providing care to the Sexual Assault Response Team program as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner. Provides direct supervision, documentation, review and evaluation of other SANE. Follow Palomar Health rules, policies, procedures, applicable laws and standards. Acts as a community liaison and educator for investigatory agencies, Palomar Health and the public. Assists with program development; ensures that the program goals are consistent with those of Palomar Health. Performs other duties as assigned. Follows Palomar Health rules, policies, procedures, applicable laws, and standards. Carries out the mission, vision, values, and quality commitment of Palomar Health.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education:Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Bachelor's Degree with equivalent years of nursing experience
Preferred Education:Master's Degree in Nursing
Minimum Experience:5 years related clinical experience
Preferred Experience:3 - 5 years progressive supervisory experience
Prior financial management experience
Required Certification:American Heart Association recognized BLS - Healthcare Provider
Certificate of successful completion of an approved SANE forensic training program
Preferred Certification:Not Applicable
Required License:Current CA RN License
Preferred License:Not Applicable
