The Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility for providing patient focused nursing care. This position is a Per Diem Registered Nurse position in our Operating Room working primarily 8-hour day shifts with a start time flexible between 6-9 AM. Participation in Call and weekend rotation may be required.


The O.R nurse will utilize the nursing process, communication skills, and problem solving techniques to deliver quality care. The staff nurse will also be responsible for the knowledge and technical skills needed to operate a variety of mechanical devices to accomplish this task. The O.R. nurse is accountable for the age groups (average age group population includes adults and geriatrics) as defined in the scope of care.


  • Current State Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License or eligible for immediate PA licensure.
  • Two years experience in an Operating Room preferred.
  • BLS/CPR and ACLS Certification Required.
  • AORN Certification is desired.
