Responsibilities:
Accountable for the management of patients with wound, ostomy and continence needs. Provides clinic care and education to outpatients as needed. Provides direct inpatient care and education. Serves in the role as clinician, consultant, educator and researcher. Provides leadership and direction for coordination and improvement of WOC care at Froedtert Hospital, including development of policies and procedures, guidelines, standards of care and research. Other duties as assigned.

Summary:
Experience as a WOCN is preferred

Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.

Masters is preferred.

Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact) is required. WOCN certification is required within 6 months of hire or transfer into the position. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 3 months of hire.
