Responsibilities:
Nursing Informatics is the specialty that integrates nursing science, computer science, and information science to manage and communicate data, information, and knowledge into nursing / clinical practice. Under general supervision, this role facilitates the integration of data, information, and knowledge to support patients, nurses, and other providers in their decision making in all roles and settings. Performs essential functions of a Systems Analyst. Other duties as assigned.

Summary:
Two to four years of experience as a Systems Analyst or Informatics Specialist is required. Knowledge of computer systems principles, methods, system life cycle principles is required. Experience working in the health care information industry is required.

Two to four years of clinical experience is preferred.

Associate degree in Nursing is required.

Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.

Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).
