RN Coord_Meaningful Use
Coordinates the alignment of Meaningful Use (MU) requirements to VBHS’s mission and strategic plan. Interacts with hospital leadership including CEO, CNO, and Quality and System IS teams to achieve Meaningful Use (MU) thresholds. Analyzes, reviews, and runs MU reports to evaluate threshold compliance. Works directly with stakeholders to develop, design, implement, and execute MU initiatives to achieve compliance. Becomes an expert in the MU Electronic Health Record Core, Menu and quality metrics applications. Deploys initiatives and collaborates with medical staff and end users to achieve MU compliance. Ensures that organization is compliant to be eligible to collect all Meaningful Use funds.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required. Master’s Level preferred. 5 years practicing clinical experience. 5 years experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment required. 3 years experience working with Electronic Health Record required. Knowledgeable in statistics preferred. Knowledge of hospital and patient accounting, inventory control, patient management and laboratory procedures desired. Certified in or participated in “lean” methodology. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint.
