Shift and/or Schedule
Employee commits to working a minimum of 36 hours per week to include at least one weekend per pay period when the Hospital has the need. Employee is required to work two (2) major holidays and one (1) minor holiday during the designated seasonal period. Employees in this participation level shall not exceed 6 months. The departments eligible to utilize Seasonal RN staff will be pre-determined. In addition, the number of Seasonal positions will be defined and fixed for the designated period.
Major Holidays: Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day
Minor Holidays: Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July
Weekends are defined as 3:00PM Friday to 7:00AM Monday
Position responsible for collaborating with the physician and healthcare team in the delivery of patient care, utilizing the nursing process to facilitate the delivery of patient care. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patient served. Must demonstrate knowledge to the principals of growth and development as it relates to the different life cycles.
Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas or Compact State. Must be Basic Life Support (BLS) certified at completion of nursing orientation. ACLS, PALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC and PHLS certifications required in designated departments. Must have one plus years of nursing work experience. RNs with1 year experience.
