Nurse Manager-Pediatrics- RN

Assume 24 hour accountability of the clinical care and fiscal productivity for a 5 bed Peds ICU, 4 bed Epilepsy Observation Unit and a 12 bed inpatient pediatric unit.  Identify, plan, implement and evaluate the processes, technology, personnel, and facility needs required to achieve patient outcomes safely and cost effectively in a patient centered environment. Act as a member of the Patient Care Services and Leadership Team; collaborate with and guide the interdisciplinary team members in achieving patient outcomes.

Requires:   NYS RN with at least 5 years of relevant pediatric nursing clinical experience with proven progressive leadership responsibilities.  BSN and Master's Degree (or current enrollment) as well as excellent organizational, interpersonal  and communication skills required.   Certification in area of expertise preferred.
