Applies clinical expertise and advanced critical thinking skills to accomplish concurrent review and data abstraction for core measure population and/or medical staff peer review. Educates physicians and hospital staff through PI meetings and just in time training. Able to prepare charts and interpret data. Uses tools such as Premier Perspectives, Care Discover, VHA, Midas and Zynx. Familiar with regulatory standards and assists with continual readiness program. Familiar with peer review process and assists with chart review. Collaborates with committee Chairs to establish agenda, attends committee meeting and present data. Participates in other performance improvement projects and teams. Maintains current knowledge through participation in web, phone and off-site conferences, networking with peers and reading current journals.

Current Florida Registered Nurse License. Diploma or ADN required, BSN or Bachelors in related field preferred. Performance Improvement experience. Strong clinical background with at least 5 years experience. Advanced verbal and written skills. Basic knowledge & proficiency with MS office (word, Excel) required. Good organizational skills and interpersonal skills including ability to analyze data, manage time, prioritize, communicate effectively, and resolve problems.
