Fairfax Hospital is a 157 licensed bed facility providing psychiatric and dual disorders treatment for children, adolescents and adults as well as two alternative school programs and CD services. The hospital is located in a quiet residential neighborhood on the Eastside of Seattle.
The Nurse Manager is responsible for managing and directing the activities of patient care in accordance with the established standards of care, mental health practice and facility policy, goals, and objectives. This position contributes to the hospital’s philosophy, objectives, educational and quality improvement efforts, while providing guidance. All Program staff including Program Specialists and R.N.’s are supervised by the Nurse Manager.
This position will be for the acute psych unit (North Unit). Flex hours are available between 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience: A minimum of one year of charge nurse/leadership experience is preferred. Management experience in a psychiatric health-care facility is also preferred.
Licensure: RN must have license to practice by state board of nursing. Must have a valid driver’s license.
