The Quality Improvement Registered Nurse assumes responsibility for investigation of quality issues, chart audits for quality data analysis, and reporting of quality data for regulatory requirements and Board reports.  The Quality Nurse is responsible for timely data entry into the National Database of Nursing Quality Indicators data base and assists other members of the quality team with clinical issues.


  • Registered Nurse with current license in Arizona
  • A minimum of five years of experience in an acute care setting; two of which should be in a quality area required.
  • Experience with state and Joint Commission requirements for quality management.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Skills in office computer programs.


  • Knowledge of electronic health record charting
  • BLS / CPR Required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with and teach stakeholders
  • Basic Computer Skills required.
  • Ability to understand diverse accents and dialects and varying dictation styles.
