Under the general supervision of the Supervisor, Clinical Informatics, assist with coordinating corporate wide information management processes, including participation in community health care information efforts. Analyzes, recommends, plans and implements new or revised systems and procedures in accordance with corporate strategic plan and the Information Systems Strategic Long-Range Plan. Provides consultation services to customers relative to information processing needs. Work is of a highly confidential nature.
Education, Training & Experience
Current NC or multistate RN licensure required. Baccalaureate degree in nursing preferred; Associate degree with equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for Baccalaureate degree. Experience with clinical hospital information systems, preferably Meditech, and advanced application support/technical support for order entry, electronic medical record, clinical documentation and NPR preferred Experience with order processing and associated workflows. Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
