We currently have exceptional opportunities for RN/Nurse Anesthetists. In this role, you will administer prescribed anesthetic agents to patients in operating and delivery rooms; administer pre-operative anesthetics as prescribed by the surgeon; prepare equipment for the administration of anesthetics; cleans, sterilizes and checks anesthetic equipment to ensure readiness at all times and maintains records of each anesthetic administered to each patient.
To qualify, you must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing supplemented by an 18-month prescribed course of training in anesthesiology in a recognized school of anesthesiology. No prior experience requirement. Must possess a current license as a registered nurse issued by the State of New York; provide evidence of having passed the examination given by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists along with Certification by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists as a nurse anesthetist (valid for two years).
