Assists the Nurse Manager in the twenty-four (24) hour responsibility for organizing, planning, directing, and evaluating clinical and administrative activities on a patient care unit.
Requirements: Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field. 1-3 years of experience. Medical equipment; Nursing Process Skills (MD Nurse Practice Act); Medical terminology; Nursing Process skills based on MD Nurse Practice Act; Critical thinking skills. Maryland Registered Nurse License; American Heart Association CPR Certification; Maryland Registered Nurse License. Demonstrates the ability to follow verbal instructions, as well as the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
