Evaluates referrals for appropriateness of membership based on New York State Assessment Criteria and conducts marketing activities in accordance with enrollment policies based on New York State regulations. nurse
Nursing Degree graduate from an NLN-Accredited School of Nursing. A minimum of one year nursing experience in Community Health or related field or minimum of two years nursing experience and a complete orientation to Home Care and to Public Health Nursing or completion of Nurse Training in Community Health Orientation Program provided by MJHS. Current N.Y.S. license as Registered Professional Nurse. N.Y.S. driver's license. Basic knowledge with MS Word, Excel, and e-mail. Demonstrates critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. Effectively communicates by written and oral forms of communication. Initiates and undertakes self-directed activities. Demonstrates principles of customer service. Working knowledge of home care conditions of participation, N.Y.S. Department of Health regulations and Quality Standards of Clinical Practice.
