Job Summary

Job Purpose: Manages individualized, goal-directed nursing care through use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures. Charge nurse responsibilities as assigned.


Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Licenses and/or Certifications (Required and Preferred)

2 years OR experience required andDemonstrated proficiency in acute-care nursing knowledge and skills. Required Licenses/Certifications: ACLS Certification or Defibrillation Certification, ERT and PMR. Required Licenses/Certifications: Current registration in state or eligibility to do so.

CNOR preferred.
