The University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC), an innovator in Cardiac Surgery, is expanding its Cardiac Surgery ICU department and looking for experienced ICU nurses to join the team! Our CSICU is an 18 bed unit in a state of expansion. We need additional nurses to join us and support our growth.
We use advanced technologies at the bedside and in operating rooms to care for patients who have undergone state-of-the-art cardiac procedures. These procedures include coronary bypass procedures, mitral valve repairs, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), surgical treatment for atrial fibrillation (MAZE procedure), and heart transplantation and implantation of mechanical circulatory support devices.

• Current Maryland RN License • Current BLS (ACLS within 6 months of hire) • 2+ years of experience in an acute setting • Experience reading EKGs/Dysrhythmia course required • BSN preferred
