Where you work matters! Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Per Diem Emergency Department Tech at Swedish Issaquah in Issaquah, WA.
We are looking for an experienced Emergency Department Tech who will uphold the Swedish standards in patient care. This position provides support to nursing and physician staff by performing tasks that assist in the care and treatment of patients with illnesses and injuries.
In this position you will: Serve as a liaison among members of the healthcare team, patients, and families.
Organize, replace and maintain inventory and supply levels in the department.
Assist in other department-related activities.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or equivalent
Washington State Nursing Assistant Registered (NAR) or Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC)
Washington State Medical Assistant - Phlebotomist (MA-P) certification
Knowledge of medical terminology
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Training in orthopedic technology
Recent emergency department experience
