Where you work matters! Swedish Medical Center is looking for a full-time Administrative Supervisor at our Issaquah campus.
We are seeking a highly skilled Administrative Supervisor who will oversee the medical center operations on shift of responsibility to ensure that quality patient care is delivered in accordance with Swedish Medical Center's mission, vision, and values.
In this position you will:
Make daily rounds and communicates with the nurse in charge to assure that patient care needs are met
Assist the nursing staff in the delivery of patient care, as needed, by interpreting and enforcing standards
Communicate concerns regarding delivery of patient/family care to the manager
Allocate resources for quality care and is accountable for appropriate placement of patients
Identify opportunities for quality improvement and initiates appropriate referrals
Required qualifications for this position include:
Five years of clinical experience, two years of leadership experience. Familiar with various hospital equipment and procedures
Ability to perform a wide variety of nursing functions in a patient care setting.
Adequate knowledge to perform assessments, plan patient care, provide direct care, and educate and orient families and staff.
Skilled to work with a wide range of staff as part of an interdisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff.
Must have knowledge of human growth and development to modify services to the age and development stage of the patient.
Nursing Baccalaureate degree (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing; or Associates Degree in Nursing with equivalent years of experience
Currently licensed through the State of Washington as a Registered Nurse
ACLS required (or obtained within 2 months of hire)
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master's degree in nursing or related field
