Where you work matters! Swedish Medical Center is looking for a full time Nurse Manager, Neonatal ICU at First Hill in Seattle, WA
The Nurse Manager is accountable for the overall management and leadership of a unit or group of patient care units within Nursing Services. The Nurse Manager is responsible for all clinical and operational activities of the units in accordance with Swedish Medical Center’s mission, vision and values.
In this position you will:
• Establish and enforce standards of patient care and nursing practice
• Assure compliance with department standards by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the delivery of patient care
• Assume the role of patient advocate
• Assume accountability for staff retention by tracking staff turnover rate and actively taking steps to ensure the reduction of turnover among staff
Required qualifications for this position include:
Nursing Baccalaureate degree from an accredited school of nursing
Current Washington State Registered Nurse License
Current BLS Certification
Current NRP Certification
Recent NICU experience
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field
Previous first line management experience
