RN Seasonal Assignments available starting Dec 8th, 2013 .
All assignments will end on or before April 30th, 2014
Seasonal RN staff are classified as needed employees, which means they are employed to work on a temporary basis depending on the hospitals needs, with no guarantee of hours or benefits.
NEW GRADS are not eligible for Seasonal Assignments
Shift Available : 7p-7a
Hourly base rate is $42.00.
A minimum of thirty-six (36) hours per week and every other weekend is required. Seasonal Staff will be required to float to other units based on the hospitals overall patient care needs. Seasonal staff will float prior to unit based staff, and will be the FIRST to be CANCELLED. No other pay practices or compensation of any type, other than statutory overtime, will be paid.
All Seasonal Staff will be required to adhere to all hospital/departmental policies and procedures. Must be willing to commit to an orientation and competency verification schedule that will require:
Attendance at a one day hospital orientation, and four days of Nursing Orientation.Performance evaluations will be completed by Nurse Manager within the first three (3) months of employment. Must attend staff meetings on home unit and read staff meeting minutes on other units to keep up to date.
All Seasonal Staffl will abide by the house-wide time and attendance policy. Absences requires 4 hours notice prior to start of shift. All call-offs must be made up in the same week as the call-off
|ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS |
ADN, diploma, BSN and/or MSN.
Must have a current RN License in the State of Florida
Current BLS and Telemetry certification is REQUIRED.
Minimum of 2 years current experience in a hospital Emergency Room setting is REQUIRED.
