Responsibilities

The Interventional Cardiology Unit provides specialized, high quality care for patients with cardiac disease.   The unit consists of 3 patient care areas in one location; a 9 bay pre/post cath holding area; a 5 bay pre/post EP holding area and a 12 bed inpatient/ outpatient area. Our unit provides telemetry monitoring for up to 16 patients.  Also, elective open heart surgical patients begin their day of surgery here.  This unit operates 24 hours a day Monday through Friday, closing Friday evening and Saturday.  Our RNs have exceptional opportunities to make a difference in our patient's lives while working in an environment of collaboration, teamwork, professional growth and personal satisfaction.

 We currently  have part time 20 hour,  various shifts positions  available.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year experience working as an RN, acute care setting and telemetry required.

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing , BSN preferred.

Current RN Connecticut licensure and ACLS certification required.
