Director of the Orthopaedic Service Line
The Director of the Orthopaedic Service Line is responsible for the development, growth, and ongoing improvement of their respective service(s). Service Lines will be determined based upon meeting Centras strategic priorities and key operational success factors.
The Director is responsible and accountable for directing the nursing and clinical support activities at the hospital(s) and, in conjunction with appropriate administrative and physician leadership, the ongoing development of clinical programs and services of the hospital. The Directors of Nursing collaborate with the Senior VP/CNO in allocating resources. They also participate in performance improvement activities.
Bachelors in Nursing or related field.
Master's degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Minimum of three years experience in nursing management or related experience.
Minimum of five years experience in nursing or related experience.
Hold a current, active license as a registered nurse in Virginia or hold a current multistate licensure privilege as a registered nurse desirable
ANA Certification in Nursing Administration desirable
