Nurse Education Manager Medical/Surgical Beth Israel Medical Center-
Participates in the skills validation components of general orientation classes for newly hired RNs. Assists in planning and implementing house-wide in-services and educational programs. Nursing education liaison to the critical care division.
Requires: NYS RN with at least 5 years nursing experience and current BCLS. Masters Degree in Nursing or Adult Education, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or specific healthcare field required. Demonstrated competence and progressive experience in Medical/surgical nursing and nursing education. Certification in specialty preferred.
