The Nurse Manager is responsible and accountable for providing clinical and administrative leadership to the East Harford Family Medicine Practice.
The Nurse Manager obtains and allocates available resources to assure efficient, effective, and safe patient care, based on current standards of practice. The Nurse Manager is accountable for facilitating a collegial relationship between nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers and for promoting service delivery which results in patient and family satisfaction. The Nurse Manager collaborates with other members of nursing leadership to create an environment that promotes excellence in clinical practice. This includes contributing to the development of nursing goals; procedures and standards of care; and opportunities for professional growth and development.
This is a busy family practice. Incumbent would be responsible for supervising 10 staff members and supporting five providers.
This office is open Monday thru Friday.
Strong systems experience required to support a new electronic medical records system
Leadership ability to inspire and motivate all levels of staff and medical providers.
Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
Must be self-directed
Knowledge of Patient-Centered Medical Home standards required.
Must have recent outpatient experience working with EMR. Knowledge of ACO is a plus. Current CT License required. BSN required. MSN Preferred.
