Continuum Cancer Centers remains the only hospital system in the metropolitan area to earn network accreditation with commendation by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer.
We are currently seeking a Full Time Surgical Technician for our Perioperative Services for Continuum Cancer Centers of New Yorks West Campus location. This Surgical Technician will have a shift from Monday Friday, 7:00 am 3:15 pm. The Surgical Technician will be assisting in the following areas: care of patient in the OR, care and preparation of sterile and unsterile equipment, safe transfer and positioning of patients, functioning as a scrub technician or instrument technician, maintenance of sanitary environment, preparation of the room for the next procedure and other duties as assigned. Must have a High School diploma or equivalent. Must be a graduate from a Certified CST Program. On days when the West Campus location does not have cases, the person will be assigned to work at the Beth Israel Main Campus or our Ambulatory Care site, located on Union Square.
