The Administrative Nurse II (ANII): Nursing Educator Position has the primary responsibilities for coordinating and conducting the education of all RNPH nursing staff and coordinating, guiding and working with nursing students during their clinical rotations at RNPH. Specific duties include, but are not limited to: Coordinating the development, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of the RNPH Nursing Education program including new hire orientation, the continuing education program for staff at levels, and the coordination of student contracts and placements with affiliated schools of nursing. Additionally this position is responsible for coordinating the bi-annual education assessment and the drafting of the annual education report.

REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN required, MSN strongly preferred
Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) in psychiatric nursing with State certificate or Masters degree in Nursing Education - strongly preferred
Current active California R.N. licensure, BCLS required
A minimum of 3 years of Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing practice is required.
A minimum of 2 years as nurse educator experience preferred
