Title: Quality Management Coordinator
Nursing - Managed Care
Responsible for quality management activities including record reviews, analysis and summary of findings, identification of trends and recommendation of performance improvement strategies. Review charts and population-based studies and abstractions of the medical record and/or quality improvement process. Investigate potential quality issues including grievance and appeals and tracks trends in quality-related issues. Participate in quality improvement studies and projects, performs basic analysis of data, assist in project and program evaluation and conduct field visits/audits.

Registered Professional Nurse License, Bachelors preferred. New York State Registered Nurse License required. Minimum of one-year experience in a quality management position preferred. Basic knowledge and understanding of clinical care health care systems. Analytical skills, strong communication skills and proven ability to analyze data and make recommendations required.
