The RN Unit Director will care about the details that deliver patient satisfaction at Holy Name Medical Center, where there are 54,000 visits to our state-of-the-art Emergency Care Center every year.
Holy Name Medical Center is a fully accredited, not-for-profit healthcare facility based in Teaneck, New Jersey. This comprehensive 361-bed medical center offers leading-edge medical practice and technology administered in an environment rooted in a tradition of compassion and respect for every patient.
You’ll be the focal point of unit operations, as you supervise care, resolve issues, and oversee staff recruitment and scheduling. Duties also include: conducting daily patient care rounds, immediate clinical and leadership decisions, scheduling resources, promoting teamwork and excellence in practice, and developing educational plans.
To qualify, you’ll need a minimum 3-5 years of experience in emergency room nursing and at least 2 years of management experience. A bachelor’s degree in nursing is required, as is ACLS, BCLS and PALS; a master’s degree in nursing is preferred. You must be thoroughly knowledgeable of ANA standards of care, the shared governance nursing model, evidence based practice, and safety and compliance regulations.
