Job Description:
The Medical Assistant is a practitioner who is responsible for assessing planning implementing and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients. This individual demonstrates competency in delivery of care to a varied patient population.
One to two years of clinical experience required preferred experience in a busy Family Practice Internal Medicine or Pediatrics Clinic. Willing to complete and or in process of certification. CPR required.
Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of an accredited School of Medical Assistant program in order to be eligible for employment.
Certification through the AAMA and or an equal certification board.
